This is the last part of the series: ”Measure Your Life”. We have all discussed about Time, Seasons, Numbers, and Impacts; which was in three folds. Now we are going to talk about the last one, which is ”Results”.
5. Measure Your Life By Results.
Results are important in life. What people are interested in is about what you have been able to achieve with what you have or the talents you have.
What is the end result of all that you have or you have been blessed with? What have you been able to achieve in life? What are the results to show for having a life and coming in contact with those you have been privileged to come across? Measure your life by the results you have been able to achieve or that you can achieve.
This is a great motivation when we wake up every day, determined to achieve results. There is a problem? Solve it. There is something that needs fixing? Fix it. Living a life fueled by results help us to eradicate boredom and frustrations.
Don’t compare your life with another, but compare results. We don’t have equal access to funds but with what you have, what have you been able to achieve with it? When you compare results, let it serve as a motivation to do more than you are currently doing. Don’t let it make you think you are failing; rather let it spur you on to achieve results that will channel your life in the right direction.
Life is a result business. Just like a marketer given a target to make certain number of sales in a month. It doesn’t matter if you have been going round without resting and you were not able to meet your target. If you go round, and work round the clock without meeting your target and you have another person, seated at home or using fewer hours than you, but was able to meet his or her target, no one would reward your effort; they will only reward your results.
Life doesn’t always reward your efforts but your results.
Measure your life by results and it would help a great deal to keep you motivated and desire to achieve more.

It is hard to get the result everyday @olawalium now a days people are in rush of getting things no matter what would be the results. They do not have time to judge the performance and till the time the results comes out it would be late to get the corection done.

Yes, a lot of people are so much in a haste and living our lives with a desire to achieve results help. It helps us in managing our time and resources well. There is no denying the thrill that comes with achieving a remarkable result, because it helps to stretch us to attain more.
There's a great quote that says "compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today." Ifsthis what you meant by "Don’t compare your life with another, but compare results"?
You compare your own results. You compare what you achieved in the past to what you are achieving now. Today's achievement is tomorrow's mediocrity. We shouldn't live based on past glory, that is what it means, not that you compare your results with another person; because that is a pathway to frustration.
