This is the Lovesniper Retention curation initiative aiming to retain those quality content creators after making their introduction posts. It was observed that after newbies made their introduction posts, their succeeding posts are often ignored. This initiative will hopefully encourage the newbies to continue posting quality content and interact with anyone in the community. As compilation posts are also done, this will highlight the newbies and will give the community an idea which newbie to look out for.

With my resilient spirit, I spent three hours there waiting, time passed and the line of machines grew, it was more than 12 noon and my main concern was the return, if I managed to arrive of course, staying was another possibility but traveling on Sunday to my house could be a bigger challenge.

My wife's favorite aunt Sandy was visiting from Hawaii to spend time with her brother Gary - and they decided to make weekend of it at the cottage. It was good to see Sandy again - when we lived in Hawaii we often spend time together. Sandy is joyful to be around. Her side of the family is a mixture of Hawaiian and European and she has a distinctive poise and demeanor.

The motivation behind my cooking is very dependent on very many factors, but yes, at the end of the week, I decide to cook because I have more time. My decision to cook, however, does not mean that I end up cooking. While in school, cooking was mostly to experiment on any new recipes I came across on YT or IG; other times, it was just because I spoke some advice into my own ears saying, "madam, take a break on junk food and eat healthy food." Ordering healthy food was expensive, is expensive, can be expensive. Depends on the outlet though but as a student, anything considered luxury even in the slightest was too expensive, and ordering food instead of prepping it yourself is luxurious. It was almost always frustrating though with new recipes but with the old ones, it was always a delight and because I had no means of storing the foods I made, it lasted for only that weekend 😔. I found myself thinking about the food from the previous couple of days on Mondays 😄. Oh well, I always made my favourites.

Hello my people of Hive!!!, here a little while with you. At this moment I am going to tell you a little bit about the community where I live. 29 years ago the Guásimos municipality opened its arms to our family group. However, until recently I learned that its name comes from a tree that is native to this area, the guásimo, is a tree of great height, whose fruit resembles a dark green raspberry, which is used by some people as part of livestock feed in small quantities, it is also used for its properties against diarrhea, kidney problems and colds, hemorrhoids and dysentery.

The thing is, I had scheduled an appointment to get a tattoo, which I had been postponing for about a month due to various inconveniences. But finally, on Friday the 13th of October, I managed to make the appointment and went to get tattooed. So I left early with my brother, who is my partner in adventures and craziness, walking towards the place where the tattoo studio is located.

We all know that the best way to spend weekend is having a picnic at the beach with your family. To be outside with fresh air and calming ambiance is something that we look forward to after an exhausting week. That's why most of us are very excited for weekends to come. This weekend, my family and I decided to have a picnic at the beach. The fact that it was very sunny these fast few days up until now, we look for something to do to ease the hotness of Mr. Sun. That's why we planned to go to the beach to experience fresh air and cold water.

Share a story on how you overcome feeling despondent, disillusioned, or filled with skepticism when you realize exactly what's going on around you? What makes you hold onto hope? Enlighten us on something you do to create a safe, positive space around yourself, to boost the belief or conviction to always look for the cloud with a silver lining, even if it means starting again?

*Well, going back to my current pets, Zafiro is 8 years old and Eros is 7 years old. Sapphire came to me, thanks to my mother-in-law, she had heard me say that she had always wanted to have a Siamese cat and when a friend gave her a kitten of this breed, she decided to give him to me. It came at the best of times because we were going through a complicated situation in the family, my dad was waiting for a heart operation and it was a great joy to know that I was going to have a kitten. As a little boy he was very playful, he used to climb the bushes, he used to marry and he had lively eyes as blue as the morning sky, I never got tired of looking at him. Another characteristic of him is that he is very short, his tail is very short, something unusual in cats. He likes to sleep on my lap, he is very affectionate and noble. He has been very useful in the house, not even a mouse escapes and he keeps the frogs at bay. 😂

Life itself is hard, but when we keep a positive mindset towards all that we do, something meaningful will come out of it, good things are not achieved easily and much efforts needs to be put into it. It will not always be easy, we need to communicate with the creator through prayers backed up with hardwork. A lot of things are learn, unlearned, mistakes are made too, we can only be triumphant when we use our mistakes as a lesson and guideline not to make the same again, this is where HOPE comes in, by pushing when it all seems blank, things are going well as we want it to be... just hold on, when it seems there is no way forward, we should have hope it will be better.

I remember that one Thursday at about eight o'clock at night, my wife received a call that would change the course of our story. The Vice-Presidency had contacted us and would study the baby's case. They asked us for medical reports and a quote from the clinic where the operation would be performed. We did every step required and anxiously awaited the answer. It was only 24 hours later when they confirmed that they had paid for the operation. My wife and I could not believe the news, my eyes were blurred with happiness. After so many sleepless nights, there was an important step towards the recovery of our daughter's health.
