Pizza Delivery is Good for Extra Dough if You're Retired and Like to Exercise

in #retirement6 years ago (edited)

There have been two major lifestyle adjustments I've had to make since my wife & I retired: First was, "how do we spend so much time together without killing each other?", and second was, "how do we spend our time apart?"

Last month I earned about $1000 delivering pizza. I brought home $725 in cash tips plus about $275 in net hourly paychecks working about 15 hours/week, usually about three nights/week. I get lots of exercise, spend all my time at the beach, and meet lots of people!

Another advantage is short distances and safe, slow speed limits, but watch out for lots of golf carts, bicycles, scooters, pedestrians, and trolleys!
