    The problem IMO with crypto is whenever you convert to fiat, you automatically owe some sort of capital gains. The idea of the rothIRA is you dont pay the same tax. Same you would do if you were young and were interested in high yeild monthly dividend stocks and dividend reinvestment... You dont want to have to pay extra taxes on coin splits, dividends etc.
