SquareSoft (now Square/Enix) has a well deserved reputation for developing high quality console-based role-playing games. Vagrant Story is another action RPG that validates this reputation. Released in 2000 to critical acclaim and glowing reviews, it sold 100,000 units plus during its first month of release and was later released as part of the PlayStation's "Greatest Hits" line.

I think I have that somewhere still.
I managed to find this game at a flea market maybe 10 years ago, selling for $2 case and all!
Sounds like a pretty good deal even then. Today it's not one of the most expensive games in the world but it isn't usually cheap either.
