Sunday is the day to gather the family and caprichar at lunch, isn't it? After enjoying that special dish, nothing is fairer than serving a delicious dessert to leave everyone tearing up praise. So don't even think about postponing dessert for the weekend because of the rush!

Creamy pie with strawberry jam
Time: 1h (+30min in the fridge)
Yield: 8 servings
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients
2 cups of flour (wheat)
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 cup (tea) of butter
2 eggs
6 tablespoons of water (approximately)
1 yolk for brushing
Filling
1 can of condensed milk
1 cup (tea) milk
1 sieved yolk
1 tablespoon of corn starch
Jelly
2 cups of strawberry (tea)
1 cup (tea) of sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Method of preparation
For the jam, mix all the ingredients in a pan and place over low heat. Cook for 10 minutes after boiling. Let cool. For the stuffing, in a pan, take the ingredients to the low fire, stirring until it thickens. Let cool.
For the dough, in a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, butter and eggs until crumbs form. Add the water, little by little, mixing until you form a homogeneous mass, which does not stick to your hands. If necessary, add more water.
Wrap in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes. Reserve 1/3 of the dough, roll out the rest with a rolling pin and line a 24cm diameter removable rim pan. Spread the cold cream and over it the jam.
Roll out the remaining dough and cut into strips. Cover the pie by braiding the strips. Brush with the beaten egg yolk and take it to the medium oven (180º C), preheated, for 20 minutes or until golden. Let cool, unmold and serve. Delight without moderation.
