That seems like a good multi-tool. When I'm at my parents' place in Arkansas, there are always a lot of privet, greenbrier vines, sweetgum saplings, and honeysuckle vines to keep clear on the trails and in the meadows. We all think it's easiest to use a pair of short-handled sidecut loppers. They are quiet, don't take much effort or working space to use, and are easy for anyone to carry around while they are wandering about the property. Of course, the easiest would be to get a few goats! That's how their neighbors keep the privet at bay.
