I see by your comment history and steemd.com that you are leaving lots of these compliments without any upvotes. That starts to look less like good will and more like spam farming for votes.

Well, it's quite unfortunate you see it that way. And am not looking for votes too. I really guess you don't really know much about what curie community engagements mean.
First my vp is controlled by backscratchers since I usually don't get the time to spread it around. And I know you also saw the number of votes I spread around always in a day.
As a humble member of curie, it's always great to read articles they upvote and comment on them to boost the engagement

I see, then, if you are following up on previous automated votes. I have been a bit on edge lately chasing down spammers with steemflagrewards and have seen too much abuse of the blockchain of late. I apologize for my misperception and accusation.
No worries, since you are also doing your job on the blockchain. The blockchain should be free from spammers.
