Hi to all Steemian Gamers here!!! Make some noise!!! I am also gamer like you since 1990s so for today let me give you my insight or review on one of the most popular games of its generation. I am talking about the Pokemon Yellow GBC, it is the enhanced version of Pokemon Blue and Red. Pokemon Yellow was developed and released in 1998 by GAMEFREAK and published by Nintendo for the GAMEBOY handheld video console. Who wouldnt want to have a gameboy during 90's like every child like would go crazy just to have a gameboy.
Like its predecessor Pokemon Yellow has the same setting like for example starting at Kanto Region with the same goals though you may encounter some differences along the way, same number of pokemon knowns of I think 151 species.
Some differences that I noticed from Pokemon Blue and Red to Yellow

#2. You can walk Pikachu with you which at that time is really enjoyable to play. Again just like the anime pikachu is the only pokemon that doesnt want to inside the pokeball so thats why Pikachu always walked with Ash.
#3. You have a chance to have the three starting pokemons of charmander, squirtle and bulbasaur unlike in the Blue and Red version that you could only choose one. I dont remember if it was just like the anime version where in the same exact place where ash met bulbasaur, squirtle or charmander.
Bulbasaur can be found at west part of Cerulean City, Charmander can be found at the North of Nugget Bridge while you can get squirtle after you get the thunder badge at Vermillion, officer Jenny will talk to you the whereabout of squirtle.

And after youve collected all eight badges you have now the chance to face the elite four
And lastly defeat the CHAMPION, your rival, your archenemy the most annoying Gary lol.
Im still playing this game way back 2007 when symbian phone can emulate gbc games. I usually get my pokemons train stronger or have much higher level than the gym leader's, elite four's and even Gary's pokemon so that I can wipe them all in one challenge. Because its really embarassing challenge them again haha, ofcourse you need the right pokemon type to challenge them so your victory is assured.

I'm pretty sure this was my first game on Gameboy. Loved it as a kid! This review makes me want to go find a play again. I forgot you could end up getting all the starters by the end of the game. That's what made me like this version the most over red and blue
Yup me too this is really cool! You can still play it theres many emulator on android nowadays

Heres the gaming review as promised! Thanks for this @julstamban
The original Pokémon games were definitely revolutionary. I think I enjoyed playing Generation II a little more, but when they made FireRed and LeafGreen, I enjoyed playing through the original adventures again.
What's your favorite Pokémon game?
Hindi na ako nakalaro niyan nakikita ko na lang. Pero itong Game & Watch and hot noon lalo na octopus during early 80s. 1 peso kada oras! Lol!

I remember already having Red version complete, however still buying the Yellow Version simply because I saw Togepi painted on the Gameboy Color that was released when the Yellow version came out. Yellow versions was still original 151 so no Togepi in the game!
Also, my first fond experience with internet was getting tricked into searching for secret pokemon in the Red/Yellow versions, based on "reliable" guides found on websites.
