To be honest, I was totally confused with this movie, I guess I wasn't really following as it seems to be the futuristic is the past , while the "cave man like" scene with Tom Hanks is actually the future...
If I can be confused with a movie, I'd probably be more confused with the book; and probably I will end up reading a few pages and that book will end up either piled in thick dust or turned up in a recycle book store or worse, sold as recycle paper.
So I am consoled that I am not the only person who was disconnected from the content of this story in the beginning.
