Greetings, dear readers!
The world premiere of the film "The Call Up", created by English filmmakers in the genre of fiction and action, took place on April 5, 2016. In the Russian box office, this film did not appear, but it can be found on the Internet on sites that provide services for viewing movies online.
I write this review, being under the impression of what I saw. Fantastic has always been in my foreground among all kinds of genres that represent cinema.
This film also caught my attention because it tells about a certain competition of super-gamers, organized by the mysterious Zaibatsu Corporation. All of them received an invitation to appear at a certain time at a certain hour in order to test the latest development of the gaming industry and, of course, get a good reward for the work done.
No self-respecting gamer would refuse such an offer. Here they are, full of the most rosy hopes, arrived at the venue of the game, dressed in super-duper protective suits, equipped with the latest technology and... they rushed into the game. However, everything was not as the guys dreamed-the prize for winning this game was the right to the very real life...
Well, what can I say about this movie?
He pleased me with his story, even if not quite original in terms of the fact that there are already movies where computer games are tested. But it develops dynamically, almost without breakdowns and keeps the intrigue until the very end. In addition, it is quite successfully able to mix reality with fiction, the transition from real perception to virtual passed quite smoothly.
Not bad coped with their roles the actors involved in the lead roles, among which was Christopher Obi, Max Deacon, Parker Sawyers, Morfudd Clark, Tom Benedict knight and others.
The film is watchable, keeps in suspense. I advise you to watch it for all fans of science fiction and computer games. Of course, it is unlikely to be a masterpiece, but at least one viewing, which is able to please the audience, it is quite suitable.
