Kroger had a sale on some of their ice cream, including the left-over stuff from Christmas, so it was really cheap to get this stuff as they're trying to offload it. My son and I tried it and discovered that those off-white flecks are actually some sort of pie crust, which was a nice touch.
The flavor, while not strong, is nice, which makes this a good choice for those who are unable to make their own pumpkin pies. LOL!
As someone with severe lactose intolerance, I had 3 lactase pills, which I hope will ward off the consequences!
If you're looking for something deluxe, I'd suggest you look elsewhere. Otherwise, this will please the average person.
