VibraVid Project Review // An Upcoming Decentralized Video Sharing Platform

Hi Friends,

As a content creator in the crypto space - I'm always keeping my eye out for different projects coming on the scene. This particular one caught my eye because it will be a video and audio sharing platform - powered by the currency BeatzCoin. What really caught my attention about this project was the way they are flipping the traditional ad revenue model on it's head.

Right now when you go to YouTube to watch a video... you have to sit through those pesky ads until you can hit the "skip ad" button. You don't get anything in return for your time, and Youtube keeps most of the profits. Vibra Vid is going to be sharing the ad revenue between all involved - the consumer, content creator and the platform - with the content creator getting the largest share. They are also going to be gamifying the platform with fun challenges every week for both consumers and creators to earn additional coins.

Decentralized Social Media is the Way of the Future

With more and more creators getting shadow banned, blocked or de-monetized - I think it would be smart for any content creator to start diversifying their platform choices to include blockchain based dapps as well.

This is why even though Steem is sitting at a pretty $0.16... I'm still bullish on it - Especially Dtube.

Just go into any public place and look around - almost everyone is on their phone and probably 90% of them are on a social media app. This is why I think Steem and other blockchain based dapps are setting themselves up for success in the future.

That's also why I think VibraVid shows promise and is interesting enough to check out.

New Crypto YouTube Channel... Let's be Friends?

After all that talk about decentralization - I still think there is value in connecting with the community on more traditional social media sites like Youtube - mainly because that is still where the people are congregating. I'd love you to the moon and back if you'd check out my new YouTube channel and subscribe. ♥️ I'll be sharing any crypto specific content or interviews on there.

Thoughts?

I'll be following along on this project as they establish clear launch dates and more info comes out on about their IEO. In the meantime - what do you think about their business model and initial thoughts from seeing their test net? Is it worth checking out?

Love you guys and I look forward to chatting below!

Sounds like a cool project I like the features like bounties and such! I just want to see some of these projects start making a real impact! I’ve yet to see a blockchain project really make a good go of it, hope this one will be different

Reminds me a lot of choon have you seen it?

I agree on a lot of blockchain projects having a good start, but struggling with larger adoption. Will be interesting to see how this goes.

And I havnt heard of Choon... do you have a link so I can check it out?

Here you go https://www.choon.co

I read about it a while back and got some tokens in an airdrop though I heard it’s not really that decentralized with a few censorship scandals going on

what is your take on @threespeak?

Good suggestion for maybe another video review! I like that they are looking to support those who have been banned - but I havnt actually played around on their platform much.

Did you say video and audio? That's awesome. Audio is good for podcasting. I would love if you could even just play the audio to a video without the video.

Yes both audio and video! I thought that was pretty cool considering I havnt seen a platform do both before.

Facebook does kind of. But we can do better than Facebook.

Hahaha, when I saw Vibravid in the title, I thought that this was a follow-up to the most recent SSS topic and discussion ....

My concern with the number of recent Audio/Video sharing platforms that are emerging is that they are diluting the market. If a few folks like 3Speak and a few folks like DTube and a few folks like VibraVid ...

Then there is an opportunity for another app. One that will crawl through all of the Video Sharing platforms and seamlessly present them to the users. (Leaving the users unaware as to which tool they are watching)

Hahha I’m glad I’m not the only one that had that thought when seeing the name. 😂

Good point about the market getting diluted. That being said - I think market competition is good and hopefully one of these decentralized platforms will hit a home run soon. I’m actually pretty excited for Dtube and it will be interesting to see where this new direction takes them.

You think that vibraVid is better then steemit?
