Simple Math Riddles

Starting a new Series on Steemit :) I hope you like it !

An old auto is to drive a stretch of 2 miles, up and down a hill. Because the auto is so old, you cannot drive the first mile (the ascent) faster than 15 miles per hour.

How fast do you have to drive the second mile (going down the hill) in order to get an average speed of 30 miles per hour?

Select 3 balls and put them into the circles such that the sum of the numbers on them add up to 30.

Move one match stick to fix the equation

Post your solutions in the comments!

Sort:
  1. Its impossible to average at 30 miles an hour after climbing the hill at 15 miles an hour.
  2. 11+13+6, you get the six by turning the 9 ball around.
  3. You make the 6 into a 4 and the second four into a nine
  1. 45miles
  2. 13+11+6=30
  3. Move the vertical match from the minus sign to the 6 to make an 8. (8-4=4)

Actually the first answer is wrong
