Ripple (XRP)
Ripple (XRP) is the world's only blockchain solution for companies when it comes to global payments.
Ripple is currently the only one that connects payment providers, digital asset exchanges, companies and banks. This is done via. RippleNet and it makes for a frictional experience. Especially when it comes to sending money globally.
Advantages of Ripple
- Availability: Connection across multiple payment networks.
- Speed: Instant and no delays.
- Security: Constant monitoring of your funds.
- Price: Low cost maintenance.
Ripple themselves think that they are better than any other blockchain
As said, Ripple is a real-time settlement system. Money transfer and currency exchanges are created by Ripple. It is also known as the Ripple Transaction Protocol (RTXP). You probably know it as the Ripple protocol.
Ripple is built on a distributed open source protocol, abbreviated to (XRP). Ripple was released in 2012 and Ripples Motto will be something like: "Instantly, Safe, and almost free to make transactions with".
It supports tokens, which also represent normal currencies as we know them today. This also applies to gold or anything else that has a real value. Ripple is a public database, often referred to as a large accounting book. It is thus not decentralized, such as Litecoin.
Ripple is currently used for companies like MUFG and AmericanExpress. Ripple rises in degrees and has been adopted by banks and several major payment networks for their infrastructure. From the banks perspective, this is the ideal cryptocurrency.
A globalized network in development
Payment providers, banks and exchanges provide liquidity for payments in RippleNet (the work). This creates new and more competitive payment services for their customers.
