Currencies Direct could transfer value between pre-screened accounts within seconds with ripple instead of 3-5 days to transfer funds. The trial has concluded the technological proof of the concept of XRP, achieving a superior speed of payment and end to end transparency, compared to traditional means of payment.
Brian Harris who is the chief product officer for Currencies Direct has mentioned that their trials with XRP were a success and they are looking forward to the next steps in implementing it.
