One Month on the Blockchain.
It has been an experience that is for sure. hat the experience is exactly I am not to sure. There seems top be so much more going on than one person can keep track of.
After month's of peer pressure from the young ones. I made an account here.
"It won't cost you. It's free." I was told. So far it cost me a tidy $50. Free my ass.
That was for just one game. The rising star game. Turns out you need to buy pizza's for energy. https://risingstargame.com is the name of the game if you would like to check it out for yourself.
It's not a hard game. You click a button to start a mission and the game completes the mission for you.
You can win some starbits from doing the missions. The starbits let you buy more cards. Some of the cards are very expensive though. I do not think I will be buying any of those. Not on my pension.
For my own game I think I am doing okay. Maybe not moving as fast as others. I get to buy a card every few days. I like the Remy card. I got a few of those ones.
I have reached past level 25 and I have opened up a second area. Doing missions in the second area uses up more energy. there is only 1 mission of 5 minutes and then it goes to 30 minutes. In area one its 5 minutes 10 minutes and 25 minutes. Lord knows what is coming in area 3.
I will write another bit about how the game goes as I learn about it and explore a bit more.

Just to be clear for others who may read this - you do not need to spend any money to play Rising Star. If someone chooses to buy cards such as pizza slices to enable them to progress faster then that is their choice but is in no way a requirement to play the game.
