In Romania February is the month of love
On the 14th of February we celebrate like any other culture the Valentine's day and on the 24th of February we have our own national Lover's Day (or Dragobetele how we call it). That is why we have a whole month full of gifts and acts of love.
In consequence the authorities from 2 cities of Romania have thought about something nice.
The authorities from Constanta and Buzau have changed the traffic lights with heart shaped lights.

The heart is not just an exhortation to love, but it is now also an obligation to stop at the red color. At over 100 traffic lights in Buzau, the usual red color was replaced with a heart, marking Valentine's Day and Dragobete.
The heart has as a main the symbolism the center of the human body. A first center of intellect and intuition, and then affections and feelings. So the heart has the function of governing, of breathing, of keeping our sentiments in close connection with the heart rhythm.
A great idea that should be adopted by more cities in my opinion. Simple and effective, this heart shaped traffic lights can change the mood of any person.
