More Proof That Robots Will Take Your Job - Uber To Roll Out ROBOTIC Drivers THIS Month

in #robots8 years ago

You probably realize by now that robots are going to take your job.

I know, I know, it sucks.

:(

But What You Might Not Know, Is That It's Going To Happen Much Sooner Than You Think.

Take this for example. Uber has stated that human Uber drivers are soon going to compete with ROBOTIC drivers, starting now.

The fascinating thing, is that how long will it take Uber to realize that they make MUCH MORE MONEY without human drivers at all?

Do You Think Uber's Compassion For Humans Will Prevent Them From A Total Robot Rollout?

Or, is the human driver going to get shafted, much sooner than they think?

Thanks for checking this out.

Robots are taking over soon I can feel it in me bones. It is a good thing really, there's tons of stuff that needs doing around the house, windows need washing, green stuff is growing all over the porch (it rains around here).

I figure they will retain human drivers for a while, maybe give them fancy hats like the old time elevator operators. Eventually self driving autonomous vehicles will get dependable enough to save a lot of lives in traffic accidents I figure.

On the "join" section of their website, Uber makes a pitch to would be drivers by saying

"UBER NEEDS PARTNERS LIKE YOU.
Drive with Uber and earn great money as an independent contractor. Get paid weekly just for helping our community of riders get rides around town..."

So this is how Uber treats a "partner". They get rid of you as soon as they can, after asking you to join them. The many uber drivers that joined is what has made Uber grow to create a profitable company. If Uber was this close to deploying robotic drivers, then why not just wait until they can do that to launch their company? In fact, even now that they have announced robotic driver are coming within a week, they are still advertising for human drivers on their website. Their pitch even says, "help your community". Uber doesn't seem to know the meaning of the word community. In a community , we look out for one another.
