I think people overall underestimate what Tesla is and where it will go...The large automakers are very afraid of Tesla. Tesla is building everything from ground up with current technologies versus revamping old one segment at a time so while they are being crushed in the short term they will leap ahead in years to come. Telsa is software and manufacturing and is run by a man that many admire and follow as a non-bureaucratic CEO.
