Why is this rolex so special to me.
It has an interesting story to tell, James Cameron and the Deepsea challenge.
On 26 March 2012, the expedition by James Cameron Decended 10908 Meters to reach Challenger Deep, the deepest >point in the world's oceans!
The architecture of the Rolex deepsea and its ringlock system serves as the blueprint for the Deepsea challenge, with a >guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 12000m!
Jame's camaron's submersible was carrying a specially maid Deepsea challenge watch on its hydraulic manipulator.
The time was kept perfect nearly 7 hours beneath water!
James camaron also demostrated by looking at the watch at the bottom of the Mariana trench!
This watch also comes with the traditional Oyster glidelock mechanism.
To a Diver like me this is the best watch one can own! The commorative value of this watch is far exceeds it price.
This amazing conversation starter, about what it took to make it and why this is called
The blue Luminous dial is just so beautiful to stare at!

There is a similar watch to this, the deepsea black. In my opinion, it looks similar to the submariner, only larger. Whereas the Deepseablue is truely unique, with a darkblue face, darkening when it goes lower, signifying the light exposure under the sea. From darkblue, to pitch black. The wording of the deepsea, is the same color as the submarine used in the expedition.
The deepsea has deeper meaning that what we can see.

Thanks for the upvote buddy, yes the content can be similar, if someone dove 10000meters under the mariana trench, I can't be saying 1000meters under your maldives right. Those are mainly facts and specifications of a product, definetely included in the deepsea brochure. There are more than 1 article sharing that same story, maybe I was too specific on the numbers etc. Thanks for sourcing for me! They have this content there too!

Just watched the deepsea challenge and it was great. This watch has a lot of meaning to it.
I am a fan of large watches. I have to say the deep sea, however, sits strangely on the wrist. The 20mm bracelet is a bit disproportioned on this large of a watch. Now the new 2017 Sea Dweller at 43mm is really nice
