I've recently got back into playing RuneScape (Old School) as of this month I previously played a little bit last year but before that I majorly played back in the 2007 era and prior even though I've always kind of been on and off a bit with RuneScape overall. However, one thing that everyone hears about is how majority of players are working towards trying to obtain a bond, and especially in F2P (Free-To-Play). The price of a Membership Bond last year while I was playing was around 2.5 to 2.8 million gp. Now the prices obviously have gone up A LOT since then. Now reaching 4.3 to 4.5 million gp, I predict it'll go all the way up to 5 million to 5.5 million gp. Considering the price of a one month membership at $10.99 and how a lot of in-game gold prices from various websites like to try to sell 1 million gp for close to an average of $1 USD. So just do the math and getting your two weeks out of a bond or roughly considered close enough to half a month. I suggest the bonds to about average out to around 5.5 million based off of that thought process. Also I wonder how this is going to effect the in-game economy once it gets too high and basically you would be better off just buying your membership? I've always liked the idea of being able to have a membership using in-game gold instead of actually purchasing it. But you can't argue that it's starting to become a waste of time especially for those starting fresh into F2P or even lower level players. With so many people rushing for a bond and of course the continued problem that you see every once and a while in the game that is botting, we'll have to see where the in-game economy goes next. I plan on continuing to play the game and try to get a grasp of all of the new features with Old School RuneScape that wasn't around back in my day and maybe even try to get a sense within the game's community as well as streaming myself once I level up my account a tad bit more.
Here's a chart of the prices of Bonds.
