I've not been running for a week as I was on holiday and didn't have any running kit with me. We had an extra hour in bed last night due to the end of British Summer Time, so I was well rested. Luckily the weather improved a bit as it had been raining and it stayed dry for me. I headed out on my usual loop with a couple of extensions to stretch it out over 10km. There were a lot of other runners out even though it was pretty cold. I was able to keep up a reasonable pace, but I wasn't aiming to be fast. I certainly didn't hit the top speed Endomondo reports, but then it always does this.
I wasn't really inactive last week as we did a lot of walking in Italy. One long walk down the mountain on Capri left us with sore legs, but I assume my overall fitness reduced the impact a bit.
I'm now enjoying a nice cup of coffee made using my new coffee pot I bought in Italy.

I hit the treadmill for a quick 7K this morning. I just couldn't face the 4 degree temperature despite the fact its lovely and sunny outside.
I'd actually forgotten the clocks went back when I woke up an hour earlier than yesterday wondering why I wasn't feeling tired. And was a bit confused why it was getting light at 6.00.
Then it clicked. Duh!
Those little stove top coffee pots are great. Super strong coffee if you pack them well! Quite dramatic too.

Reading this, I had to double check when our daylight savings is in Canada. It's not until November 4th so no sleeping in for me today. I don't like when these days sneak up on me, as they sometimes do. My internal clock will be screwed up for weeks if I'm not ready for it.
Some people want to get rid of this clock changing as it's just a hassle for most people. I need to change a few clocks.
I guess you bought some good Italian coffee as well. They have really good coffee brands at Italy.

I did buy some coffee too. They do like their coffee there, although it's become a big thing in the UK with loads of coffee shops everywhere. I like making my own.
