Running again

in #running7 years ago

I have to confess that I am a very lucky runner.
Why I am telling this?
Because my work office is close to a Running Track facility so, every day, during the lunchtime I used to go there and do my Running session according to the plan.

That's why I have the intention to post more articles about my running sessions in #runeveryday (Thanks to @ervin-lemark for creating it, good idea!)

Nevertheless, I am injured, I have a Groin Strain (Pubalgia) from which I am starting to recover (hopefully).
It appeared after having finished the last marathon on which I participated (middle of February this year).
I am conscious that It was clearly the consequence of a very hard work preparing the race (Lesson Learnt)

Anyway, I am feeling better today and I decided to test myself in 30 minutes run.
I have lost all my running conditions,I mean, I am not fit at all and I am very far from that runner in early February but, anyway, I will recover and I will come back STRONGER and FASTER!! That's for sure!

Here the Garmin charts:

6Km in 29'45" (+ 6 minutes more of stretching and cool down).
Taking into account as well the 31 degrees of temperature and a windy day, it has not been a bad run at the end...
I feel happy since my hip seems to resist.

Have a nice day and Keep on running!!!!

You are fast. Even after the injury and without training.

Yes, groin strain can be a consequence of to much running.

I wish you a successful gradual recovery and come back to the form.

Happy running

And thank you very much for joining the #runeveryday club ☺️👍

Hahaha! Yes, I was fast...😃
Now, sometimes I cannot even walk without pain...
Ok, so today and tomorrow, I think I will just walk a couple of Kms... and then try to accomplish the bylaws of #runeveryday
