Fifty/seventy runs till May No.8: 9 km easy run or it still hurts. #runforsteem #runningproject

in #running7 years ago

sorry for the quality. I haven't stopped properly to take a picture

"It still hurts, but its ok" - thats what I found out yesterday. Interesting that after about 1.5km happened exactly what happened on Tuesday. Pain and feeling like stone leg. However, after about 10-15 minutes the pain disappeared. It was lightly uncomfortable but no pain. So I decided to start the race tomorrow. It will be my first race in 2018. Only 5k but anyway I will test myself tomorrow.

Yesterday I wanted something new so created a new route. Left my car not by the park but at work parking. The route had a few traffic lights and that is what I hate the most about city running. Anyway I really enjoyed run by the river, to the park, took another exit from the park and returned to work.

Quality again.

Exactly 9k in 01:00:29 (6:43 min/km) avg heart rate 157 bpm. Sorry for the picture quality. It was raining yesterday and humidity made its own.

No reason to apologize for the image quality. The pictures are great and have a quality that shows the rain and your run.

Is @runcoin still around?

I just should have stopped and cleaned the lens glass to make photos like taken with a phone not with a potato :D

the last small update on @runcoin was on 1st of January. https://steemit.com/steemit/@dragosroua/runcoin-update-strava-integration-remote-posting-tests I am not sure how is it going. @dragosroua could comment more.

The day has only 23 hours and not 24, do you know why? Because one hour is booked always for running.

STAY TUNED WITH @runningproject , something good is coming!

Go easy in that race. Be prepared to stop before the finish if your leg isn't right. You don't want to do more damage which prevents you running in the coming weeks.
