Update and injuries

Once again I have been out of the community for months. First time it happened was in the transition from steem to hive and changing of platforms which gave me technical issues. Last time it was struggling to understand the new community setup. I guess technical things are not my strongest side.

Another thing is that this has been a running related account and last year I got injured. I got jumper's knee and it has been bugging me since. I have cut back a lot on my running and is now mainly strenght training, hiking, biking and skiing with the occational walk-run interval workout. That is life. I am sure it will heal with time and if not then I can live with that too.

I have taken up another old hobby though. Geocaching. It is a perfect combination with hiking. Any geocachers on this community?

So, back to the techical stuff. Is peakd still the best way of posting with photos? Any tips on how to tackle communities? Can I just join the ones I find relevant? Any good ones you want to recommend to me?

Since a post is always boring without a photo I will enclose one from yesterday. Geocaching took me to a geological spot here in Norway with lots of fossils. These are old octapus fossils from the time when they had shells. It is so old that the rocks where it is situated once was at the location of the Easter islands.

Welcome @marenontherun 😍

I prefer peakd as a front end, and yes, join any community you wish. I'm not sure whether there is one for geo caching, but there are many other interesting ones.

Thank you! Appreciate your answer.
