3 runs a week means you still get plenty of rest and recovery in-between. Maybe if you ran everyday for an extended period of time you might need to slow it down.
I am into my 4th week of zone 2 running now (6 days a week). Sometimes it feels like I can walk faster than my run but things as slowly starting to change and feel better. I am thinking 2 more weeks with zone 2 only running then I want to add a faster parkrun as my hard run for the week. Sort of like an 80/20 training plan.
I was getting too many injuries and felt achy all the time so I had to try something different.
I am worried I have lost all my speed but they recon it will come back if I can get a better base to build from. We shall see.
