Enough has been done, that it is not necessary to obtain good performances, a part of our physical form, while a role that is often decisive, but neglected, so is the runner, as they are of particular importance.
Using a good technical sock is certainly a fact to keep in due consideration, because the sock plays first and foremost the primary function of acting as an intermediary between our foot and the shoe, protecting ourselves, for example, from the abrasion of the inner upper of the shoe against the superficial layers of the epidermis of our foot, limiting the possibility of occurrence of unpleasant phenomena such as blisters and skin fissures.
Secondly, the technical sock also possesses shock absorption qualities, often being reinforced or padded at the points of greatest wear, rubbing or stress, in such a way as to make the ride as pleasant and comfortable as possible, thanks to a whole series of precautions of which they are equipped.
The best technical socks have many different areas, in the development of their construction, with reinforcements mainly localized on the heel, on the Achilles tendon (to protect against stress and pressure against the same), on the ankle, on the arch ( with supports of various sizes and order), under the metatarsals, and on the fingertips, a very particular area, being subject to the potential impact against the front upper of the shoe.
Precisely at the end of the race different attentions are reserved in the realization and finishing of the technical sock, as the area at the toes is finished with care and precision, with a process designed to eliminate or reduce the seams in relief, which could cause injuries to the toes, causing serious problems that could compromise the outcome of the training or the race.
Consider also the purchase of a good technical sock, adequate for your needs, your feet will thank you and you have better performances.

I’m a longtime fan of Injinji toe socks. I’ve never had a blister with them.
Very well, dear @dabeckster, I thank you for your precious testimony !!
