RE: Construction of a Boundary Wall : Mud play

in #rural-india7 years ago

Excellent piece of work, in the UK we still have many fields bordered with dry stone walls - the strength is in the selection of the stones used and correct sizing and position. Here you show us traditional brick based building but utilising an much more available binding material then mortar - in many ways this is similar how the bricks and mud mortar are laid dictate the strength - it requires still much skill from the builder. Building is not just limited to the physical though - we build relationships and friendship that will cross boundaries by joining together and working to help each other.

Thanks @c0ff33a we do have stone walls too built on with mud mortar...but it is at extreme remote areas....in village now a days bricks are easily available and cheaper too, also it involves less transportstion than the stone . Also many prefer to make bricks by their own....
