What Darwin and the Russian Hack Theory Have in Common

For as long as man has stared to the heavens and wondered why, and devised the sciences to answer that question, the holy grail of science has been to discover the origin of life itself, of course assuming as a foundational element of that answer that with no help from outside, "something" once came from "nothing," in other words, "life" came from "no-life." That task accomplished, the next would be for science to prove that the first kernel of life coming forth, justified by no cause, subsequently multiplied, morphing as it went, into all categories of life, the end product being a scientific explanation regarding the reason for all various forms of life in the universe. Unfortunately, well, at least as of this writing, science is no closer toward that objective than it was when Darwin first published his conjectures almost 160 years ago.

Curiously enough however, without a shred of evidence supporting the notion that life can, much less did, spring from no-life, science eventually leaped the chasm separating pure conjecture from scientific fact, presuming itself to be the lone authority regarding these matters, painting the previous mere notion that life sprang from no-life as an established scientific fact, albeit a fact that science promises to prove at some indeterminate time in the future, given of course enough time and enough taxpayer resources...

And because those who pursue the holy grail of science have always been able to count on taxpayer dollars to support their efforts, and frankly, because these kinds of pursuits don't take much real effort anyway, truth be told the minors and sappers engaged in the pseudo-science of "life origin" are much better off, professionally speaking, if they continue to fail at their seemingly arduous, self-serving purposes, essentially saving the world from considering that God really might be the one true Source of life in the universe, and the Creator of the universe itself.

And I bring this up not to pick on those whose faith in science to eventually explain the unexplainable is, well, unexplainable, but instead to draw a comparison between them and those who have, without cause or evidence, successfully cemented the idea in much the same segment of the public mind that there is no possible valid conclusion other than THE RUSSIANS INTERFERED WITH THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION! As in Darwin's theory, that conclusion requires that something came from nothing. Armed only with conjecture and guileful purposes, but with lots and lots of spendable resources, those who find it politically advantageous to bend the public perception to believe what no presentable fact can support, have not only made fools of themselves to the thinking public, but have also made fools of those they have successfully indoctrinated with false impressions, and who believe them, which brings us full-circle. You see, if Darwin’s speculations really were correct, the segment of the population who believe the Russian Hack Theory would have become extinct eons ago.
