The Russian language is highly phonetical - we read most of the words the way they are written, but there are certain pronunciation rules you have to follow when speaking Russian and reading. One of them is final devoicing which is important ,and not too difficult to follow; in this video I will talk about six pairs of voiced/voiceless consonants and five consonants that don't have pairs so that they're pronounced the way they're written.
