This week I interviewed Ashley Pride for my YouTube Channel/Podcast titled Choices: From Struggle to Strength. Ashley shared how she has struggled with grief and has had to find ways to cope with it. Pride has found healing, community, and growth by focusing on self-care and gratitude.

Ashley Pride is a force to be reckoned with—she's passionate, driven, and has grown through difficult events. She's an advocate for self-care, gratitude, and community, and she believes that everyone is creative. Ashley is an inspiration to us all. Thank you, Ashley, for sharing your story.

Do you find yourself struggling to heal after a difficult event? Maybe you've been told to "just get over it" or to "move on" but you can't seem to let go of the pain. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone.

Ashley Pride is a woman who has experienced many difficult things in her life, including the death of her nephew. Despite these difficulties, she has found ways to cope and be a stronger person. One way she has done this is by focusing on community and creating a community of supportive people—the Kindness Community on Twitter. Another way she has coped is by being more mindful of the present moment and taking time for self-care.

Here are some suggestions that may help you:

  1. Recognize that struggles are a part of the human experience and that they can be proof that God exists and is with us always.

  2. Find ways to connect with others who are struggling, either through conversation or shared experiences.

  3. Be grateful for where you are in the present moment, even when it doesn’t make sense.

Recognize that struggles are a part of the human experience
This can be difficult, but it is important to remember that they can also be proof that God exists and is with us always. This was something Ashley learned after experiencing the loss of her nephew. Through this difficult time, Ashley realized that by being open and vulnerable with her grief, she was able to find healing and connection with others who had similar experiences. This led Ashley to focus on community and self-care, two things that have helped her become a stronger person.

Ashley's focus on community and self-care has helped her become a stronger person, and she has learned that these things are essential for coping with struggles. She has also learned that it is important to be open and vulnerable with her grief, in order to find healing and connection with others. By recognizing that struggles are a part of the human experience, Ashley has been able to find strength and hope in the midst of difficult times.

Find ways to connect with others who are struggling
In order to connect with others who are struggling, you can either have conversations with them or share experiences with them. If you choose to have conversations with them, try to be understanding and empathetic, and really listen to what they have to say. If you choose to share experiences with them, try to find common ground that you can both relate to. Both of these options can be helpful in connecting with others and helping them to feel less alone.

If you're not sure how to start a conversation with someone who is struggling, you can always start by asking how their day is going. From there, you can try to relate to them by sharing a similar experience that you've had. It's important to be genuine and authentic when talking to someone who is struggling, as they may be feeling vulnerable. Try to be a good listener, and don't judge them for how they're feeling. If you're not comfortable sharing your own experiences with others, you can always try to find ways to help out. This can be done by simply lending a listening ear, or by offering to help with anything that they may need. Sometimes, just being there for someone is enough to help them through a tough time.

Be grateful for where you are in the present moment
Ashley Pride talks about how finding things to be grateful for, even in difficult times, is an important part of self-care. She suggests that taking time to appreciate the good things in our lives, even when we are struggling, can help us to find strength and peace.

It can be difficult to find things to be grateful for when we are going through tough times. However, Pride suggests that taking the time to appreciate the good things in our lives – no matter how small – can help us to find strength and peace. She points out that we can be grateful for the little things, like a sunny day or a good cup of coffee. Or we can be grateful for the people in our lives who support us, even when we don’t always realize it. Taking the time to focus on the positive things in our lives can help us to get through the tough times, and come out stronger on the other side.
