Sunday lunch table!

I love a sunny Sunday! And today we had the pleasure to enjoy another warm sunny day of October. After a walk in the park where we got soaked up in the bright sunshine, we came home to enjoy a delicious table with...

Fries with grated cheese...

Trumpman bought these delicious potatoes that came from Naxos island. He heard somewhere that they're one of the best quality potatoes in Greece and when he came across them in the supermarket the other day, he bought some for us to try at home. What they had told him was true! The fries were delicious even without any salt and the grated gruyere only made them more irresistible - we both had double servings as we could not stop munching.

And beef stew in the pressure cooker!

Not much to say about the stew, just some beef from the supermarket. I cooked it in the pressure cooker with one sliced onion and a piece of garlic. Once done, I removed some of the broth to use tomorrow for my spaghetti, I added some tomato juice, olive oil, four grated tomatoes, two grated red peppers, three carrots in big chunks and one sweet potato in cubes. I seasoned with a little salt (because Little Man would have some of that too), black pepper, allspice, mustard, one bay leaf, some smoked paprika and cumin. I let it cook for another ten minutes in the pressure cooker again and my sauce was ready!

Some bread and spicy cheese spread on the side completed the feast!

What did you find on your Sunday table today?

The fries look yummy. But so does the stew, it’s pretty cold here today that stew would hit the spot.

i am feeling hungry again.
