Yes, this salted fish and they are selling at RM 35-40 each or 10USD. The drying rack in this picture could hold 200 fish each week or 2 weeks (if raining season). In a good season, they could sold all of it in one to two days and earn 2,000 USD.
Furthermore, this is not just any salted fish market.
All I can said is that, this market has a seafood restaurant next to it.
Market, restaurant and now you could have a panorama view of the Sulu Sea while you are in the market and dining.
OH! Forgot to mentioned that this is Sim Sim at Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. This is the town in Sabah home the most diverse and delicious seafood. If you are a seafood lover, this is the place that won't let you down.
