I am still new here too but it seems to be a patience thing.
I've looked at a few youtube videos about Steemit to help me understand better stratagies and it appears to be starting to work.
Also notice what the top bloggers here are doing. What kinds of posts are they making? What style of blogging seems to work best. Things like that.
With patience and some research into the best methods I believe you will have a better outcome.
But without patience you won't get there unless a whale constantly helps you. You're already doing better than me when I first started.
Be patient and someday maybe you will be the whale. :-)
