My understanding is that the southern end of thge Caribbean is most hurricane safe, one island in the very south not even requiring a hurricane policy on ones insurance to remain there during the season. My Caribbean interest is to get to Belize and then go overland (probably on my bicycle) to El Salvador. If it seems like a place that would be nice to hang then Makina could be brought through the canal or even shipped on a truck from a land canal that is in one of the Central American countries south of Belize, to the Pacific. How does anchored off Bitcoin Beach sound? 😎👍
