RE: History of Sea Explorer - Part 1

It's cool to see all this. I heard you discussed on the Cryptomaniacs podcast and was keen to see some pictures. Converting to electric propulsion will be cool and give you more independence. I hear you can make fresh water and connect to the internet too.

Happy sailing.

I'm being discussed in a podcast! Wow! Send me a link.

Yes, thanks to Elon Musk I have fantastic internet - broadband in the middle of the sea. Starlink RV is excellent and there were kids watching live Netflix and my Captain downloading weather files as I cruised out of sight of land. In two months there was only one significant outage as I sailed along the Turkish coast. The rest of the time it was a very solid connection.

I'm so happy to be able to make my own fresh water from only the sea and the sun (its completely solar powered). My crew say its the best water they've ever tasted and puts yucky, chlorine tasting marina water to shame.

It was @apshamilton talking about you with @jongolson. I can't find the actual episode. Not sure if there is an archive with all the details, but Jon should know.

I haven't been on a podcast in quite a while. Maybe it was @brianoflondon?

It probably was me the last time I was on @jongolson and @taskmaster4450 Cryptomaniacs. I'm sure they'll drop a link here.

Yes, I think it was you. The boat sounded interesting, so great to see these posts.

I think was the episode I meant.

Ah, I think it was Brian. I was getting confused :)
