Have you ever made your own salt?
If you make holiday at seaside you are close to the source.
While swimming i took an empty bottle with me an filled it with seawater.
Back at accomodation i filled it into empty water can´s i cuted before into two parts.
It´s a good exercise to lern patience. You will get a souvenir that remember you to these happy day´s when you are back at home and you are cooking with your own salt.
Everything else is done by the sun. Here my harvest after refilling my little salina a view times. If it will not become dry don´t worry. You can spice your food same good with seawater from a bottle then with dry salt.
Finaly a image how it will be done in larger amounts. They produce just in summer. Else the sun will not have enough power to dry the salt. This salina is in the south of La Palma iseland. You can see a volcano in the background.
