aludos a todos mis queridos familia de hive; espero que hayan pasado una hermosa y muy feliz navidad; en vista de todas estas fiestas y ocupaciones, me he ausentado unos pocos días de la plataforma, pero regreso para contarles cómo pasé el 24 de diciembre al lado de mi familia.
greetings to all my dear hive family; I hope you had a beautiful and very merry christmas; in view of all this festivities and busyness, I have been absent from the platform for a few days, but I am back to tell you how I spent the 24th of December with my family.

Este día mi mamá me levantó a las 10 para poder ir a la casa de mi abuela a ayudar con las hallacas y el resto de la comida. Esta vez, por cuestiones de presupuesto, no hicimos comida para vender, pero sí se prepararon los platos navideños para nuestro consumo en la cena especial; mi mamá preparó hallacas de gallina y puerco (sus favoritas); mi tío pan de jamón y pasticho; mi abuela horneó un rico pollo y preparó la ensalada de gallina. En el desayuno, tuve una probadita de pan de jamón.
This day my mum got me up at 10 o'clock so that I could go to my grandmother's house to help with the hallacas and the rest of the food. This time, for budget reasons, we didn't make food to sell, but Christmas dishes were prepared for our consumption at the special dinner; my mum made hallacas with chicken and pork (her favourite); my uncle made ham bread and pasticho; my grandmother baked a delicious chicken and prepared chicken salad. At breakfast, I had a taste of ham bread.

Después de desayunar, mi mamá y yo hicimos algunas compras; en una charcutería, estaba un cactus pequeñito que me enamoró, así que le tomé una foto.
After breakfast, my mum and I did some shopping; in a deli, there was a tiny cactus that I fell in love with, so I took a picture of it.

Al llegar a casa de mi abuela, todos estaban activados; mi mamá armaba las últimas hallacas y mi abuela las contaba. Yo ayudé mientras conversaba con ellas en la cocina; las horas pasaron muy rápido, y fue genial hacer las hallacas (como siempre) en compañía de mi familia.
When I arrived at my grandmother's house, everyone was active; my mum was putting together the last hallacas and my grandmother was counting them. I helped while chatting with them in the kitchen; the hours passed very quickly, and it was great to make the hallacas (as always) in the company of my family.

Una vez se hicieron las 2 de la tarde, un amigo que no veía desde hacía dos años le visitó; estábamos distanciados por la pandemia, pero, finalmente, se me dio el bello regalo de navidad de tenerlo a mi lado nuevamente. Estuvimos desde que llegó hasta las 5:30 hablando de nuestras vidas y pasándola muy bien.
Once it was 2 o'clock in the afternoon, a friend I hadn't seen for two years visited him; we were estranged because of the pandemic, but I was finally given the beautiful Christmas gift of having him by my side again. We stayed from the time he arrived until 5:30 talking about our lives and having a great time.

Luego de que lo lleváramos a su casa, yo estaba agotada de hablar y tenía mucha hambre; a tal hora estuvo listo el magnífico almuerzo, y me puse muy alegre de finalmente poder probar todas las delicias que mi familia había preparado.
After we took him home, I was exhausted from talking and very hungry; by this time the magnificent lunch was ready, and I was overjoyed to finally taste all the delicacies my family had prepared.

Al terminar de comer, mi abuela no aguantó hasta las 12 y me dio su regalo: un acondicionar, un esmalte de uñas color cielo, un removedor de esmalte y una caja de Flips. Ella definitivamente me conoce muy bien; en la bolsita que me entregó estaban las cosas que más me gustan: comida y belleza. Le agradecí muchísimo el hermoso gesto.
When I finished eating, my grandmother didn't hold out until 12 o'clock and gave me her present: a conditioner, a sky-coloured nail polish, a nail polish remover and a box of Flips. She definitely knows me very well; in the little bag she gave me were the things I like the most: food and beauty. I thanked her very much for the nice gesture.

Poco a poco se hizo de noche; yo me empecé a preparar para tomarme mis fotos con la ropa navideña. Me maquillé durante una hora, hasta que sentí que quedó maravilloso; tomé mi aro de luz y con él me hice una bonita sesión de fotos al lado del árbol de mi abuela.
Little by little it got dark; I started to get ready to take my photos in my Christmas clothes. I did my make-up for an hour, until I felt it looked wonderful; I took my light ring and with it I had a nice photo session next to my grandmother's tree.

Cuando dejé de tomarme fotos de mi maquillaje, mi mamá me invitó a comer unas galletas con mermelada; disfruté de las galletas, para después retocar mi maquillaje y tomarme fotos de cuerpo entero con ayuda de mi hermano, que a veces se convierte en mi fotógrafo personal. Las fotos ¡me encantaron!
When I stopped taking photos of my make-up, my mum invited me to eat some biscuits with jam; I enjoyed the biscuits, then retouched my make-up and took full body photos with the help of my brother, who sometimes becomes my personal photographer. I loved the photos!

Luego de la humilde sesión de fotos, las edité para compartirlas en el estado; utilizo Lightroom para hacerlas ver más iluminadas.
After the humble photo shoot, I edited them to share them in the state; I use Lightroom to make them look brighter.
Finalmente, era tarde y, como todos los años, esperamos a que se hicieran las 12:00 en compañía de mis abuelos. Cuando se hizo tal hora, vestimos al niño Jesús de su pesebre y quedó precioso, recibiendo la navidad en nuestros corazones.
Finally, it was late and, like every year, we waited for 12:00 in the company of my grandparents. When it was, we dressed the baby Jesus in his manger and he looked beautiful, welcoming Christmas into our hearts.
Luego de un rato, fuimos a casa, donde chateé con mis amigos hasta bastante tarde; en la madrugada, me fui a dormir, muy feliz de que este hermoso año nos dejó una bella y próspera navidad.
After a while, we went home, where I chatted with my friends until quite late; in the early morning, I went to sleep, very happy that this beautiful year left us with a beautiful and prosperous Christmas.
