South Korea-based Samsung, one of the most important and largest technology companies in the world, announced that it faced a #cyber #attack. South Korea-based Samsung was hacked by LAPSUS$ in the past few days (the company still does not give the name of this group) and made a sound with the news that it stole 190 GB of secret data.

The company stated that personal information (customer or employee) specific to the attacks was not stolen. The algorithms related to biometric unlocking methods, the "bootloader" source codes for all new Samsung devices, some secret source codes of Qualcomm, the source codes of Samsung's activation servers and the source codes of Samsung activation servers and Samsung accounts also have full source codes of the infrastructure used for authorization and verification. While talking about the concern that these will bring along major security vulnerabilities in the coming days, it was clearly stated in the latest statements made by the company that the source codes related to Galaxy mobile phones were stolen among the data.
