¿Why them specifically?

...you might ask!!

I suspect most people on Hive already know, or at least should know, that we only have barely a few more than just a couple of dozen active whales in the ecosystem.

And when I say whales, I mean those users on Hive with their own or delegated HP of at least $1M or close to a million dollars hive power. Of course there are several in the list that have much more than just a million HP. Like at least the first twelve on the richlist. But basically, those who own or control only $1M HP are barely the first 24, alas solely a couple of dozens. As you might see if you «click» on the previous link.

But what I really want to highlight in this post is that not all of these twenty-four "whales" are active in the ecosystem. Nor could they be classified as content creators or "content curators" by any measure. By which I guess it's clear that solely the 20 opulent users listed as the most rewarded Hive "curators" in the graph above, seem to be the only ones performing such "laborious" task. Yeah, a 'laborious & thankless' task as many of them use to claim. Poor whales, they don't get enough rewards & ROI from their money, time and contribution. Yeah, that must be a thankless experience.

Oh! And the other thing you should keep in mind. It's that not all of these opulent Hive accounts that rank high on HP in the first places of the rankings are the ones who directly and personally perform that laborious and thankless task of content curation. Oh no, no no no no. Many of them are just Alt Accounts managed and controlled by other Hive users acting as proxies and vassals, who are the ones truly in charge of distributing the tokens, the rewards and the profits from such arduous "curation" work where they really must be accumulated. Obviously in their own vault.

Like by instance, and just to mention a trio of these proxy users, let's name only to:

  1. @bluemist with @appreciator HP.
  2. @acidyo & team with @ocdb HP
  3. @eddiespino & team with @theycallmedan, @threespeak and @aliento HP.

All these "content curation" accounts with high Hive Power, evidently with delegated HP granted by many of you, naive dolphins & minnows. And in many of these cases, also with huge HP delegations from the Hive's largest whale known. @Blocktrades himself.

OCDB delegators

But anyway, all of this is just a detailed preamble of what I really wanted to show you, and that's precisely what determines the odd title and question of this post: ¡The Spoiled Ones! - ¿Why them specifically? So let's start making sense of this post right away.

For this "laborious" task, I will randomly select only a dozen of these opulent "curator accounts" and through the same number of screenshots we will see who are those other spoiled & pampered Hive users that these accounts with high delegated HP usually use to upvote and handsomely reward way too often. ¿Why them? ¿Huh?

Appreciator

OCDB

Zingtoken

Curangel

Threespeak

Aliento

Buildawhale

Hey! by chance have you also happened to notice that big red bar at the top of each of these screenshots so far? ¿Yes? ok fine. Let's then now add a handful more that doesn't have that big red bar at the top. Because what really matters here is defining and determine why these "curators" upvote so many times the ones they frequently upvote.

Theycallmedan

Blocktrades

Alpha

Trafalgar

Ranchorelaxo

Okay, there you have all the big twelve. ¡Now click, check and verify!

Oh! and another thing you should also take into account in this carnage. It is the long list of naive Hive users with lower HP and poorer value votes who often follow blindly the blind votes of these "curator" accounts in their voting trails. And the fact that many of these wealthy "content curation" accounts also follow each other's upvotes & downvotes.

But as I said before, what really matters here is defining and determine why these "curators" upvote so many times the ones they frequently upvote. ¿Why them? ¿Why so often? ¿Why are they the most spoiled and pampered ones? ¿Do you have any idea? That's what I want you to tell us!

Because I've already heard a lot of them asking and complaining about...

¿Why God? ¿Why? ¿Why is this happening?

The more time passes, the more I'm convinced eventually blogging will be a memory from the distant past. A story of how distribution "worked" at the very beginning.

Well, as long as you don't decide to start wearing makeup and cooking and sharing recipes every day while taking selfies... I'm afraid you're quite right in what you say.

i remember those... the insanity of the early days

naive Hive users with lower HP and poorer value votes who often follow blindly

Hmmm, what's new... Lambo first in a idiocracy. It can't be different here for the sake of imbecility and greed. But it's good to have dreams and hope for a shift change in this mental capitalistic holocaust.

Hmmm, what's new...

¿New?

New is that with the ongoing tariffs, these idiots with dreams of imbecility and greed will have to settle for this type of Lambos in this mental capitalistic holocaust.

Sure... so still: What's New ! The game is rigged for thousands of years already. #justSaying

There are a few "Top Holders" lists we can find... why is there a Top Milkers list missing ? (rhetorical question) Would be nice to see that one.
