What an "introduceyourself" Post in the Year 2037 Might Look Like

in #satire7 years ago (edited)

Hello, Steemit. I'm not very good at this type of thing, but I'm gonna give it my best shot for you. My name is Timothy-Sue. My parents named me as such so that I would know I had the choice to recognize myself as either a man or a woman. I'm only 17, so people were still quite ignorant around the time I was born. I love my parents for what they tried to do for me, and I don't hold any grudges about their decision to name me that way. They couldn't have known back then that I would grow to identify as a colour.

(That colour is indigo by the way. You can call me that)

I always wanted to join Steemit. All my friends are on here, but I was working long hours to take care of me and my sick sibling, Mary-Alan, so I could never find the time. As I am here now, I suppose you can guess.. I lost my job. I don't want to get into details, but I have essentially been replaced by a machine. After giving 3 years of my life to that place, right after leaving school.. but, the company was in a bad place after the lawsuit, and I knew they were going to have to find a way to cut costs.

I don't want to feel sorry for myself. I don't want any of you to feel sorry for me. I just want to share with you my gifts and hope that you find them worthy of rewards. I don't expect to earn much here, as I know there are hundreds of millions of people already here with so much talent and deserving of rewards, probably more than me. I am just hoping to earn enough to take care of me and Mary-Alan so that I don't have to go on benefits. They make you take the implant in order to receive your money, and I am so scared of needles. I had a really bad experience on my 47th vaccination and they had to use gas on me to get me to take the last 8. I can't do another needle. Also, I have heard the blockchain stores some really creepy information on you.. Like your emotions and stuff. I don't know what's true, but I want to try my best on here to avoid having to make that decision if I can.

So what am I going to bring to Steemit?

In my spare time, I am an activist fighting for human, animal, and vegetation rights. I don't mean to brag, but I was actually at the protest that resulted in them banning the harvesting and selling of fruits and vegetables last year. To everyone else who was there, you did a great thing. Now we are all on the nutrition pills and our footprint on the Earth has been greatly lightened. Have you noticed there has been a lot less hurricanes and tornadoes recently? I don't know if I might be crazy but it feels like climate change might be slowing down.

Anyway. Over the years of fighting for the rights of all of Earth's living creatures, I have captured so many memories that I would like to share with you, as well as tell you some stories about the great things I have done. I will be making my first post very soon, where I talk about our first "PLANT LIVES MATTER" meet-up in New Babylon. Follow me to make sure you don't miss it.

Thanks for reading everybody and all who don't identify themselves as having a body.

PS: I am sorry for not adding a photo. I am extremely shy and have bad anxiety. I cannot be in a room without the light being switched off. I am sure you have heard of the condition, so your acceptance of this is appreciated.

You're way too kind. The way it's currently going I can't imagine someone being able to read and write in 2037. That after all is 7 years after agenda 2030 will have come to fruition.
Fuckwittery will be worshipped.
Stupidity mandated.
And idiocy genetic.
The irony is the morons of tomorrow won't know those things are essentially the same thing!
Great post dude.

Great point about people not being able to read or write anymore. I've already heard grammar is racist and a white-man invention so I guess it must be sexist, too.
Excellent post.

Interesting. :-)

Welcome Indigo. I'm so sorry to hear about your sick sibling, and the loss of your job. We are fighting against the regime of the machines where I live too. I am impressed that you got people to stop harvesting and selling the fruits and vegetables. They are cruel to them, and this kind of treatment to living plants needs to end. I swear at night I can hear the trees crying. Anyway, I can't wait to read your posts. I write about the effects of global tinting. This is the phenomenon that happens at the end of the day. The sky turns all different colors in the evening. This is evidence that our world is doomed. We must fight against the sunset. Save the Apples!

Your Fellow Steemit Member,

Rainbow Blue

This was fantastically ingenious. Lol.

Thank you-
