In 1610, the renowned Italian scientist Galileo shot his first sights onto the moon, the stars, and the outer planets; a certain notion has been bothering and poking mankind's curiosity ever since: the veracity about alien life's existence, and, truth be told, such an archaic question has also been provoking my personal curiosity ever since I was informed of the cosmos and the realm of astronomy. Moreover, what verifies to me that millions of individuals share my stimulation towards the subject is that each time I would Google the enigma, numerous people would post commenting that, although they don't know how and despite the fact that the NASA never mentioned such a phenomena, they are just sure that alien creatures are extant; I personally believe that these philanthropists and gurus experience some kind of accentuated euphoria by the notion that aliens would someday visit us and that we would sign some kind of universal peace treaty with them and become friends and live happily ever after, etc.
However, after meticulously scrutinizing the portfolio of Earth's and mankind's history, I would dissent. Trust me. You don't want aliens, because if the answer to the paradox was a positive confirmation, and if we could be able one day to reach universal aliens, then I believe it would be a detrimental experience. The alien life forms would either be primary, uncivilized organisms or intellectual, advanced, educated, and robust creatures.
In either case, however, the humans would do what they have been doing best over the last 200 decades: occupation. Sometimes I feel that it's an integral part of us, an innate gene that has been transcended over the generations. Examples vary such as the Spartans' occupation over troy, Alexander's occupation over Europe, the entire Middle East, and Southwestern Asia, the Pharaohs' occupation over Northeastern Africa, the Ottomans occupation over the Byzantine empire, King Richard's occupation over Jerusalem, Salah Al din's occupation also over Jerusalem, the Spanish and Portuguese occupation over a portion of South America, the French occupation over Algeria, the American occupation over Iraq, the titanic, English occupation over India, Asian trade routes, Egypt, the Suez canal, The Western Bank, and almost the entire continent of North America, the primary Homo sapiens' occupation over forests and animals, the father's occupation over his family, the elder sibling's occupation over his/her younger siblings, the street gangs' occupation over the cities, and even the destitute's occupation over a comfortable spot on the sidewalk.
So, if the aliens were primary creatures, then I believe that two months of invasion and occupation would be adequate for us to take over the planet and inhabit it once we consume our entire planet's resources to the limits. However, if the aliens are found to be much more technologically and mentally advanced than we are, then I believe that the day we encounter them would be referred to later as Doomsday, because if we would not be able to invade their planet, then the human race would inevitably experience the aliens' occupation itself, of course with the mundane lame excuse of either beneficial scientific studies or simply the oil :)
