EDSI'ers, The EDSI airdrop was a great success and I think we're all good and back on track. If you are seeing this for the first time and have no idea what's going on with EDS, please check Post 1 and Post 2 that explains what's been happening over the past 2-3 days.
The EDSI Airdrop is Complete
Let's take a look and see how things have changed regarding circulating tokens, HP balances, EDSI APY, etc compared to how things looked 4 days ago during the last EDS report.

- The EDSI token supply is up 852 compared to EDS 4 days ago
- The HIVE income pool increased to 309.52 because we've powered up the HIVE we got from some EDS token sellers
- The EDSI APY has dropped to 20.73%, down from 20.91% 4 days ago.
This is not a bad result at all when we consider over 2000 EDS tokens were traded between the overpayment and the airdrop.
Thank you to @nkemakonam89, @mtrade & @resiliencia who have sent the swap.hive they got from selling EDS on the 17th. This has been powered up and is being used to back the extra EDSI in circulation. The biggest sellers were quick to defend themselves but have yet to send any of the swap.hive they got from the sales. I could put usernames but I'll be accused of targeting people for doing something they did 😂. Im just happy, it was only 852 HIVE, it could have been much worse. As far as im concerned, people that going to send swap.hive will have done so already and it's finished now. It was my mistake at the end of the day and I knew it was going to cost a few HIVE.
We will add limits to all reward bots of 10 min and 1000 max EDSI. This means the bot will only distribute balances of between 10 and 1000 EDSI so if I forget to add a decimal again, the bot will not send any EDSI out.
The Cost of My Error
We are lucky that Eddie Earner runs under SPI because Eddie has no liquid assets and SPI pays for everything. Let's take a look at the cost of my mistake
- New token creation - 100 BEE
- 2 new miner contracts for EDSM & EDSMM - 2000 BEE
- Edits to eds-vote & eds-d reward bots - $30
- New EDSI HIVE distribution bot - $110
The cost to SPI was around 1200-1500 HIVE and the cost to EDSI is around 850 tokens.

The Result
EDSI are backed and pegged to 1 HIVE each so nobody has lost everything but because we still have 50k+ more HIVE than required. There are 1% more EDSI compared to EDS, the weekly HIVE APY has declined by 1% resulting in an EDSI APY of 20.73%.
I'll try and get all the current reward bots edited this week and have the new EDSI bot set up for Monday. After this we carry on as if nothing happened.

A massive thank you to everyone who showed support by not trading EDS on the 17th. Lots of supportive comments on Discord and everyone was very understanding which was cool because this gave me time to work on fixing the problem instead of having to answer questions in DM's and Discord servers. Thanks @shanibeer for stepping up and handling comments 😁 I did read over them all and it was great to see they were all positive, everyone understands mistakes happen and lots of compliments on being happy with how quickly it was all resolved.
It is always great to see investors showing faith and putting their trust into me and the project by not panicking. I have added 5000 HIVE of liquidity to EDSI on hive-engine if anyone wants out but I can see that some already have higher-priced buy orders placed 😁

Never send EDSI to either @eds-vote or @eds-d because these accounts are used to distribute rewards. You will 100% lose those tokens
FYI,
EDS tokens are now dead. Lots of people are asking what to do with them. Keep em, sell em, transfer em or burn em. I cant think of anything right now but at the end of next year when SPI is flush with cash, I might get an idea. I have ideas always but they require funding. haha. If we had a few thousand, maybe 5k HIVE laying around, things might be different.

I have 100 EDS and still get a small portion of upvotes because I hold the token. will the portion of upvotes for holding at least 100 EDS no longer exist in the future (aka must be replaced by holding 100 EDSI)?
