What Are EDSI Tokens?
Eddie Earner Income (EDSI) tokens are income-generating tokens on the HIVE blockchain that pay weekly dividends every Monday. These dividends come from 12% of the total HIVE POWER balance held by the @eddie-earner account, providing token holders with an impressive annual percentage yield (APY) of over 22%.
Token Supply and Mining
EDSI has a hard cap of 500,000 tokens, with an initial public sale of 20,000 tokens priced at 1 HIVE each. New EDSI tokens can be minted in two ways:
- Staking EDS Miners (EDSM) or EDS Mini Miners (EDSMM).
- Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote.
- EDSM miners yield approximately 20% annually.
- EDS-vote provides returns of about 4-5% per year.

This Weeks EDSI Report
We minted 501.68 EDSI this week pushing the total in circulation to 80,617. I think 500 a week will be our new normal for a while, we mint 300 a per week from EDS miners, this is set for the next 15+ years. We're currently minting 180 from eds-vote and 20 from EDSD per week but these can change.
632 HIVE powered up this week to the account. This week is the last week we receive 600 HIVE from eds-vote. I started a new powerdown this morning for 550 HIVE per week. We are currently earning around 350-400 HP per week so we can expect the next new powerdown in 13 weeks will be for closer to 400 HIVE per week.
Long story short, the amount of HIVE being powered up each week will drop to around 400 in 13 weeks. Sounds bad but we'll also be minting 100 less EDSI each week as well so its like lossing 100 a week which is still not great but better than 200.
HIVE POWER balance this week is 137,649
The HIVE income pool increased to 316.56 HIVE this week.
The EDSI APY dropped by 0.04% this week so almost nothing. We can expect this to be the case for the next 13 weeks and then changes will get back to normal. At 20.49%, we're hanging onto over 20% as our lives depend on it. At this current rate, we'll take 12 weeks before we drop under 20%. That will be a a sad day but in the grand scheme of things, 20% paid out as liquid HIVE is still better than everything else out there and if the list your EDSI token at 1 HIVE, they will sell, might take days but exit liquidity is there which is also rare with hive-engine tokens.
Weekly Roundup
Pretty standard week, nothing exciting happening. The price of HIVE has tanked which the rest of the market but that has no impact on EDSI cause we're 100% HIVE.

Thanks for sharing this info. Im still trying to grasp what EDSI token is. Can i just delegate some Hp to @eddie-earner and receive rewards? Or do i have to buy the coin?
!ALIVEIf you want to earn edsi via delegation, you have to delegate to @eds-vote not @eddie-earner
Doing what you said won't accomplish anything in regards to minting EDSI..
Buying of the market is another option of course and could be better in terms of net return (depending on price).
@silverstackeruk shouldn't the EDSD option be included in this list?
edsd has its own report, but you are right it should be included in the "New EDSI tokens can be minted in two ways" section

Any thoughts on the bottom APY all things considered and staying roughly the same over the coming years?
