My best bet was taking Club Brugge -0.5 @ 5.33 late on a 0-1 score with low stakes instead of going for the +0 option for bigger stakes. I won the money I would have lost otherwise since Antwerp scored the 1-1 a bit after.

What I do like about it, is that you are always looking at the bigger picture.
Some people don't understand that one but on the favorite could be worse, than 10 small bets on the underdogs!
Due to the odds the underdogs could make you a profit in the long term.
Yes it's insane how many people like these 1.35-1.5 type of odds just because they feel like a winner because there is a high chance of winning while losing one of those bets bets quickly digs a hole that needs multiple winning bets to be even again. Also these kind of bets lose so frequently.
Guess it is time to write an article about how high the strike rate has to been compared to the odds you are playing.
People do forget that it is all about the odds. But I have to be honest and I never was so serious about betting then now, all thanks to the SBC community!
Although I only bet tiny stakes, it feels like gambling my complete wage!
I would not say so categorically. I know some people who place several bets during the month for such odds (1.2-1.3) and they always beat the bookies. But amount of their bets is 5000 EUR and higher!!!
I know you meant amateurs, but still...
