How to win with sportsbetting #6

in #sbc7 years ago

It's already friday once again. Here is the sixth tip of the 'How-to-win-with-sportsbetting'.
We've been around a few subjects now. Keeping track of your betting, not going to broad on different leagues, using the brain and not the heart. And the latest: The use of a system.

#6 The better the odds the better reward.

Personally I have an account on almost all of the biggest Danish bookmakers. This means I have 10 accounts whereas 7 of them has money on them (for now). Depending on what country you reside in you’ll probably have a different variety.

This could seem like a lot. But it’s actually an advantage to spread out your money. That way you’ll be able to check where the highest odds are at. Besides that you can compare them and check if something is completely off. Say if one bookmaker has a much higher odds than another one.. Then it tells you something is up. Maybe they have been slow on the newest injures and likewise. Then you might be lucky to find some really good odds.

Besides that the odds can also differentiate depending on how close we are to the game. Most likely something could be changing right about when the line-up is released (or has changes).

How many betting-partners do you have an account with?
Have you ever found gold by comparing odds?

Yeah shopping around for the best odds is really important for long term profitability. Over here we're restricted to one local bookmaker run by the government. Terrible odds. It's almost as if they look at the online bookmakers and shave the odds by 0.2 - 0.3 for every option.

Wow. That doesn't sound fair at all 😮

No it isn't. They're one of the biggest contributors to the government coffers so i can see why they're going all out to protect it lol. I doubt many believe the official reason that it is to protect problem gamblers from themselves.

I used to have accounts and shop around for the best odds at 30+ bookmakers. You can beat the market just by shopping for the best odds alone. unfortunately these books only accept lower limits and kick out winning players. It was quite the challenge to move over to the asian market who allow winning players since their lines are consistently set quite tight. I'm only really using Sportmarket Pro now which I would no longer do without (read my review) They let you automatically shop for the best odds and bet from their platform (only only real bookmakers that offer high limits and don't restrict winning players)

30+ sounds like a lot to keep track of!..
So typically. I've heard a lot of when people win big amounts of money at some bookies it turns out there is a limit on how much you can win at a time.. Ridiculous.
