You Called My Name - Praise and Harmony Acappella Company

To be sincere with you am not sure I've heard such a song like this, it was first shared on @julietisrael whatsapp status, my first time of seeing it. The lyrics gripped me to the bones because it tells my story, the story of how I've come this far, how I've lived and how I just couldn't save myself despite my religiosity, self righteousness, quiet and meek, good and gentle, be a church worker and still couldn't save me.

Despite my plight to be saved, it was getting far away by the day. All hope lost while I while away in shackles of sins and self. Guilt engulfed my heart and I couldn't help but cry for help to the one who can deliver. Shame on me, shame on all mankind, knowing after it all that I can't save myself. Ha! What a shame. 😢 😔

Then in one of the meeting organized by the hands of the Holy Spirit I heard the saviour called me out by name, his calling broke the chains of sin, bondage, oppression, addictions and all evil things with it. I was free for the first time inmy life.

This song am talking about is titled "Glorious Days" by Passion. Released from the album "Worthy Of Your Name" in 2017.
The original sound goes like this 👇

With the lyrics below,

[Verse 1]
I was buried beneath my shame
Who could carry that kind of weight
It was my tomb
Till I met You
...
[Verse 2]
I was breathing but not alive
All my failures I tried to hide
It was my tomb
Till I met You

[Chorus]
You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day
You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

[Verse 3]
Now Your mercy has saved my soul
Now Your freedom is all I know
The old made new
Jesus, when I met You
[Chorus]
You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day
You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

[Bridge]
I needed rescue
My sin was heavy
But chains break at the weight of Your glory
I needed shelter
I was an orphan
Now You call me a citizen of heaven
When I was broken
You were my healing
Your love is the air that I'm breathing
I have a future
My eyes are open

[Chorus]
You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day
You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

The remix of the song was done by a little known YouTube channel owned by @boye Jr. who dropped a very good and spiritual version of the song. A remix.

I've been so touched by this song since I heard it because it reminds me of my past, a scary and sorrowful one, if not for Christ who called me to His side. I would have been a useless work of creation of God.

The team called Praise & Harmony Accapela delivered this song in a newer dimension like never before. Am so much interested in the spirit for this song since I've been listening.

The chorus of the song still touches and resonates in my ears.

You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day
You called my name
And I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness
Into Your glorious day

Am the exact person the song was talking about.
