HOW I LOST FIVE HERALDS OF GOSPEL IN ONE DAY! MY DAD INCLUSIVE!(True Life story)

in #sc-n6 years ago (edited)

Yesterday was not a good day for me and for the Christ Apostolic Church World wide. I taught I would be the only one to be affected but more salt was added to my wound. It was Nine years yesterday when my Father Pastor Jeremiah Adetunji Rest in peace. He didd on 19th of September 2009 at about 5:45 Pm. While grieving and mourning the losss yesterday, It came to my hearing that some of his colleagues whom are pastors as well had accident on their way to the 2018 Annual pastor's conference in Ikeji Arakeji. The painful part was that they were travelling in an 18 passenger bus and 4 of them died on spot. The rest are currently at Wesley Guild Hospital Ilesa.

HOW MY FATHER DIED
He died attending to the gospel. He died at his post, I could remember , He received a call that one of His church member was having an asthmatic arrest and pick up his motorcycle to see the person. Before this time, He asked my mom to prepare is favorite meal with the hope he will come back to eat it. I didnt know that will be the last time I would see him. He prayed for the person and later we heard the person was healed. On his way back home, just some steps to the house, he was knocked down by bus of the Mobile Police officers who were coming from camp and their bus brake failed. It was gathered that my father hitted his head against the bab wire (overhead cables). News came to us and we quickly rushed to rescue the member of the police force. Unknowingly, we never knew our number one had been knocked down by them. It was painful to discover him on the ground. I wept, I cried to God to please save him. But he died at his post! He died serving God and the painful of the memories is that the person whom he died attending to never cared about the family he left behind. He died leaving my mom with 5Kids, I was a kid then as well. We suffered to survive and even the church cared less about us. They held their Sunday service with drums, talking drums and loud music. It was then I knew life can be hard.

But at least We survived because God knew He was loyal to Him. While grieving him yesterday, I heard another tragedic thing happened. The members of the Clergy of Christ Apostolic Church died again at their post. I was just wandering what will happen to them , to their family. Will they go through the same thing my mother did when his husband died? But I pray none of them do. It a sad and bitter experience and I can only pray God be with them.

Rest on compatriots of the Gospel
Good night my father, Jamec mi! I love you!!!
