What would happen if God gave us everything we asked? Soon we would be directing the world and He would have to contemplate it. And without a doubt it is evident that we are not capable.

He said "NO" to Paul at times (2 Corinthians 12: 8, 9). Many times the denial is due to our ignorance or selfishness in the request. "For what we ought to pray for, we do not know" (Romans 8:26). Our Heavenly Father knows the best for us, sometimes he answers our prayers by not granting our requests because we don’t always pray/ask as we supposed to.
